Tasting notes:
Wine fermented during 10 days followed by 8 days of carbonic maceration in cement vats, according to traditional method of la Rioja Alavesa. Made with select grapes from own vines over 50 years old and aged in barrels with an average age of 5 years. Red wine with strong blue tones of freshness and youth, clean and crystalline to the eye. Aromas of quality, reminiscent of the carbonic maceration. Harmony between the spicy background and ripe fruit. Long in the mouth, intense with strong tannins. Balanced, long aftertaste of a well-aged wine. |
